Imho it makes more sense to clear up once and for all if movies really are recorded and/or supposed to be seen at 23.976 or 24 fps and then debate how to get there.

Notably, when I play 24p material at 60Hz I get no presentation glitches or dropped frames with nevcairiel's settings, but playback is still unwatchable due to severe stuttering whenever the camera pans across a scene. are you sending video through your reciever or directly to the TV?

I prefer to keep the HD audio unaltered as well, my receiver (HK AVR-354) handles bitstreamed audio differently than decoded audio. have you tried overclocking your gt430? i agree on seeing how many dropped frames you actually get or, more importantly, do you ever notice when one is reported? I did not have this problem with my gt430.īut since custom 23p messes up 3D on nvidia cards, I did not want to use it anyway, and I have no problems with the default 23p setting.

Any idea why it wont play bd rips properly when any custom mode is used?ĭivx are fine and i tried both dvd and the direct mkv file so i must assume its something to do with the fact it is the actual 1920x1080 file format that is the problem
